It is really too bad that the VW Festival didn’t come to town this year. This would have been the perfect watermelon for it. I found a picture like this online, so I figured I would give it a shot. It was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be. There were so many pieces that had to be attached with toothpicks that it really took a lot of time to assemble. I thought the surf board in the back was a nice touch though.
